Halil Caliskan is a Turkish comedian who’s been living in Amsterdam since 2017. After leaving his 9-to-5 consulting job to chase his dream of opening a cozy restaurant, life threw him a curveball—COVID. Familiar with using humor to cope with life’s challenges since childhood, Halil found himself at an open mic one night and immediately fell in love with stand-up comedy. He eventually turned his restaurant into a comedy club, and since then, he’s performed and produced hundreds of shows across Europe and beyond.
