🌀 Comedy Showcase is an English comedy night, with the goal of supporting upcoming talented comedians.

Halil Caliskan, a former consultant, a current part time comedian and pizza chef, telling jokes about his existential crisis, burn-out, his observations along the long way from an office job to becoming a Turkish pizza chef in Amsterdam right at the beginning of covid, and finally finding his way from depression to comedy. He’s been doing comedy for almost a year, and took his offensive jokes to very interesting locations such as Dubai and some very religiously conservative Turkish cities and managed to survive and make people laugh.

Patron Stage, named after the restaurant’s bossy cat, is a comedy club established by a group of international established and upcoming comedians from all different backgrounds.

Pizza Padrone, where the events happen, is famous with being one of the “top 500 italian restaurants in Amsterdam that is run by non-italians”.

p.s. did you know that an hour of laughter burns the calories of one whole pizza?(this is some serious research, google it.)
