🌀 Comedy Showcase is an English comedy night, with the goal of supporting upcoming talented comedians,

Doors open from 17:30 for pizza, drinks, meet & chats. Show will start at 20:00.

Meet Maeva. French & Dutch, fluent in neither but compensates by simply being a really nice person. Her comedy touches upon the awkward female experiences which will make you go, “Did she really just say that?” to, “I also have the same thoughts about my nails”.

Maeva has been performing comedy throughout the Netherlands, London & Paris and has most recently performed at the Boom Chicago Comedy Festival 2022 & the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2022.

Halil Caliskan, a former consultant, a current part time comedian and pizza chef, telling jokes. Yeah, that’s pretty much it.

Maeva and Halil will headline the show, with 30 minutes performances each. Daniel Yazbek will be your host for the night, with supporting acts from Zep de Bruyn and Winnie Hanschen.

Patron Stage, named after the restaurant’s bossy cat, is a comedy club established by a group of international established and upcoming comedians from all different backgrounds.

Pizza Padrone, where the events happen, is famous with being one of the “top 500 italian restaurants in Amsterdam that is run by non-italians”.

p.s. did you know that an hour of laughter burns the calories of one whole pizza?(this is some serious research, google it.)
