“Normal Enough” is a solo stand up show that dives straight into the world of a woman who moved to the Netherlands for love (in a cool, chill, not impulsive way at all). Phoebe Perry is an American comedian who everyone thinks is Dutch, until she opens her mouth. Despite her height and genuine love of herring, she keeps hitting the wall doing her best to be “normal”. In this 45-50 minutes of stand-up Phoebe brings the audience together with characters and act outs. It feels more like overhearing gossip during a family reunion– it’s “chaotic safe” on the Alignment System. Whether you’re here for a good time or a long time, “Normal Enough” guarantees a hilarious time.

Phoebe Perry started performing in Chicago before moving to the Netherlands in 2019. She welcomes audiences with her warm personality and uses physical comedy and characters to invite them into the absurd side of things. She is a regular comedian at Comedy Club Haug in Rotterdam and the host of their late night experimental comedy show.

Le Flaneur Bookstore, located on the scenic canals of Prinsengracht in the heart of Amsterdam, is an emerging alternative venue for intimate live performances—from stand-up comedy and ADE parties to live music and cozy gatherings. During the performance a cocktail bar will be open 1 hour before the show, ran by one of the most talented bartenders in Amsterdam.

The show is suitable for audiences aged 18 and above. Video recording will not be allowed during the show; however, you may take pictures.
